Аннотации
Bakalaura darba Salīdzinājums Katulla dzejā mērķis ir izpētīt Katulla dzejā izmantotos salīdzinājumus formas un saturiskā aspektā un noskaidrot, kā tie funkcionē konkrētā dzejas teksta kontekstā. Darbā tiek pētīti visi Katulla dzejā sastopamie salīdzinājumi, klasificējot tos pēc saturiskā principa: daba, dzīvnieki, cilvēki un mitoloģiskie personāži, dažādas reālijas Katulla dzejā. Salīdzinājumi tekstu padara skaidrāku, krāšņāku, pārsteidzošāku; tie niansē idejas, izrotā tekstu, paredzēti nomelnošanai vai tieši otrādi – izcelšanai. Pētījumā izmantotas gan antīko, gan mūsdienu teorētiķu atziņas par salīdzinājumu. Darba izstrādes gaitā svarīgs ir bijis arī Katulla dzīves vēsturiskais fons, saistība ar neotēriķiem un dzejas iezīmes.

The aim of the bachelor research Simile in Catullus’ poetry is to explore similes in form and content’s aspect which are used in Catullus’ poetry, and to find out how they functionate in the context of a particular poetic text. All the occurring similes in Catullus’ poetry have been explored in the present research, and they have been classified according to content’s principle: nature, animals, people and mythological characters and different realias in Catullus’ poetry. Similes make the text clearer, more colorful, more surprising; they make nuances to the ideas, decorate the text and they are made to abuse or the very opposite – to highlight. In the present research both the ancient and modern theoretical views concerning simile have been used. A historical background of Catullus’ life, poetic features and connection with the neoteric poets have also been essential for the present research.
