Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „1. Pasaules karš un mantotās karadarbības ainavas Jēkabpils novadā”. Darbā apskatīti septiņi pagasti, jo pagastu teritorijas vēsturiski šķērsoja frontes līnija, līdz ar to rezultātā radās militārais mantojums novada ainavā. Ainavas veidošanās ir saistīta ar nepārtrauktu mainību un attīstību, kas ietver sevī gan konkrētus ainavas elementus, gan dabas resursus un procesus. Cilvēki gadsimtu gaitā maina ainavas sākotnējo veidolu. Arī bakalaura darbā aprakstītā 1. Pasaules kara norise būtiski ietekmēja ainavu. The title of the bachelor's work is "The First World War and its footprints in landscape of Jēkabpils county". The paper discusses all the seven municipalities, because the territories of these municipalities were historically crossed by the battlefront, that led to the military heritage in the landscape of the county. The formation of the landscape is related to the continuous changes and development, which includes both the specific elements of the landscape and natural resources and processes, as well as the impact of human activities. The chronological frameworks are applicable to the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, when the local homesteads and educational establishments were destroyed, trenches, pillboxes, fortifications and dugouts were created, and the narrow-gauge railroad was built.
