19.gadsimta Anglijas naratīvs japāņu animācijas seriālā „Emma: A Victorian Romance”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā ar dažādiem stāstījuma veidiem, zīmēm un simboliem tiek reprezentēta 19.gs.Anglija, kādas ir līdzīgās un atšķirīgās iezīmes starp vēsturisko un animācijas seriālā atveidoto vidi. Darbā tiek analizēts japāņu animācijas seriāls „Emma: A Victorian Romance”. Empīriskie dati iegūti, veicot naratīva analīzi un semiotisko analīzi, ar kuru palīdzību tiks noskaidrots, kā caur japāņu kultūras prizmu tiek attēlota 19.gs. Anglija. Iegūtie rezultāti sniedz informāciju par zīmju un simbolu nozīmi attiecīgā naratīva veidošanā.

The purpose of the bachelor paper is to determine the representation of the19th century England, to identify similarities and differences between historical environment and animation setting, using narrative, signs and symbols. Japanese animation show„Emma: A Victorian Romance ” was analysed. Two methods of analysis were used to identify narrative - narrative analysis and semiotic analysis, which help to clarify the representation of 19th century through Japanese culture. The results provide the meaning of signs and symbols which forms a specific narrative.
