Mākoņu skaitļošanas izmantošana IT uzņēmumā

Abstract

IT uzņēmumiem nepieciešama IT infrastruktūra sistēmu darbināšanai un izstrādei. Tās uzturēšana prasa lielas izmaksas, kas ietekmē uzņēmumu mērķu sasniegšanu. IT piedāvā daudz inovāciju, lai optimizētu uzņēmumu darbību. Viena no tām ir „mākoņu” skaitļošana - jauns IT pakalpojumu patēriņa un piegādes modelis, bāzēts uz tīmekli un uz pieprasījumu veidotu piekļuvi konfigurējamiem skaitļošanas resursiem. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt: vai vidēja izmēra IT uzņēmumiem ir izdevīgi izmantot „mākoņu” infrastruktūru. Par izpētes objektiem tika paņemti reāls IT uzņēmums un Amazon Web Services kā „mākoņu” turētājs. Izpētes rezultātā tika secināts, ka „mākoņu” skaitļošana ir izdevīga, ja pakalpojumu kvalitāte un drošība ir vienādas abos resursu izmantošanas gadījumos, un pakalpojumu maksa paliek nemainīga. Šī darba rezultātus nevar attiecināt uz „mākoņu” skaitļošanu kopumā bez konteksta, tam nepieciešami papildus pētījumi.

Most IT companies are forced to spend a significant portion of their time and finance on IT infrastructure maintenance and upgrade that too often don’t add significant value to the company’s bottom line. IT offers a lot of innovations to provide enterprise optimization and one of them is “cloud” computing, which represents a new tipping point for the value of network computing and delivers scalable IT resources on demand. The aim of this thesis is to study if “cloud” computing application is beneficial in the medium size IT companies. The existing IT Company and Amazon Web Services as a “cloud” vendor were taken as the research objects. Based on the research results, it was concluded, that “cloud” computing is beneficial if service’s quality and security are the same in the both resource application cases and services have constant charge. The results of this thesis cannot be applicable to the cloud computing in general without a context; more additional studies need to be performed.
