Orkāns meža vidē: vides pārvaldības perspektīva

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Orkāns meža vidē: vides pārvaldības perspektīvā” satur pētījumu par orkānu mežā kā krīzes situāciju, norāda un pēta pašlaik pieņemto saimniekošanas metožu nepilnības, nepietiekamu sagatavotību krīzes pārvarēšanā un atbilstošās kļūdas vides pārvaldības sistēmā. Maģistra darba tēma ir aktuāla, jo 2005. gada orkāna mežā ietekme ir jūtama meža nozarē un citās ar mežu saistītās jomās ilgtspējīgas attīstības perspektīvā; Latvijā šādi pētījumi līdz šim nav veikti. Maģistra darbā veiktā izpēte apstiprina izvirzītos pieņēmumus par orkāna radīto postījumu mežā izsaukto ietekmi uz vidi.Darbā izstrādāta priekšlikumu pakete orkāna meža vidē seku mazināšanai perspektīvā: vides pārvaldības sistēmā. Daļu no priekšlikumiem iespējams izmantot praktiskā darbā, daļa var kalpot kā sākums padziļinātam pētījumam par meža mijsakarībām ar citām jomām vides pārvaldības perspektīvā. Maģistra darbs satur 146 lappuses, 16 tabulas, 20 attēlus, 7 pielikumus.

The master thesis „Hurricane in Forest Environment: Environmental Management Perspective” and contains research on hurricane in the forest as a crisis situation and indicates and researches the deficiencies of currently used management methods, inadequate readiness in overcoming of situations of crisis and respective errors in the environmental management system. The theme of the paper is topical, since the impact of 2005 hurricane is still perceivable both in the forestry branch and in other areas connected with the forest from the perspective of sustainable development; this type of research has not been conducted in Latvia before. Research conducted in the master thesis paper confirms the assumptions made in the hypothesis about the damage caused by hurricane to the environment.The paper includes a package of proposals for reducing the environmental effects of a hurricane in the forest environment: in the forest management system. It is possible to apply part of the proposals in practical work and part may serve as the start for in-depth study of interaction of the forest with other areas from the environmental management perspective.The paper contains 146 pages, 16 tables, 20 pictures and 7 enclosures.
