Krasta aizsardzība Rīgas līča dienvidrietumu piekrastē

Abstract

Pēdējo gadu laikā arvien aktuālāka kļūst problēma par piekrastes apdraudētību (krastu noskalošanos, piekrastes biotopu negatīvajām izmaiņām u.c.). Bakalaura darba tēmas izvēli ietekmēja arī tas, ka lielu daļu vasaru autors ir pavadījis Kurzemes jūrmalā, kas radīja papildus ieinteresētību par šo Rīgas līča daļu. Bakalaura darbā ir sniegta un apkopota informācija par Rīgas līča dienvidrietumu piekrastes krasta joslas ģeoloģiskajiem procesiem, piekrastes apsaimniekošanu un aizsardzību, bioloģiskās daudzveidības raksturojumu posmā Engure – Jūrmalas pilsētas robeža. Darbs ietver jūras krastu tipu vispārīgu raksturojumu, kā arī tiek raksturots krasta posms Engure – Jūrmalas pilsētas robeža, ietverot esošās un iespējamās izmaiņu tendences. Otru darba daļu veido bioloģiskās daudzveidības raksturojums šajā krasta posmā. Darba apjoms ir 50 lappuses. Darbā iekļauti 24 attēli, kā arī 1 tabula. Darba uzrakstīšanai izmantoti 26 literatūras avoti.

During recent years, the problem of endangered coastal areas (washed off coasts, negative changes in the biotopes of coastal areas etc.) becomes more and more urgent. Preference of the theme of this Bachelor Paper was influenced also by the fact that many summers were spent by the author on Kurzeme seaside, which aroused additional interest in this part of Gulf of Riga. In the Bachelor Paper, information is rendered and summarized on geological processes in the southern coastline Gulf of Riga, management and protection of coastal area, preservation of the biodiversity within the span between Engure and the border of Jūrmala in Bigauņciems. The paper includes general description of the types of seacoasts, as well as the span of the coastline between Engure and the border of Jūrmala is described. The second part of this Paper comprises description of biodiversity within this span of coast. The volume of the Paper is 50 pages. 24 figures as well as 1 table are included in the Paper. 26 sources of information were used for writing this Paper.
