Nepiesaistītā intelektuāļa iesaistīšanās valsts pārvaldē: Rainis un Vaclavs Havels

Abstract

Promocijas darba mērķi ir, pirmkārt, konstatēt un analizēt Raiņa un Vaclava Havela nodomus divās politiski nozīmīgās darbības fāzēs (proti, nepiesaistītā intelektuāļa un valsts pārvaldes fāzēs). Otrkārt, kritiski izvērtēt intelektuāļa un politiķa lomu antagonismu vai savietojamības iespējamību, analizējot Raiņa un Vaclava Havela nodomus kontekstā ar intelektuāļu funkcijām katrā no politiski nozīmīgās darbības fāzēm. Veiktā izpēte apliecina: kā Rainis, tā Havels abās politiski nozīmīgās darbības fāzēs pretendēja uz sabiedrības līderu autoritāti, kas lielā mērā saistāma ar simboliskās varas realizāciju. Intelektuālim iesaistoties valsts pārvaldes struktūrās, ir vērojama intelektuāļa un politiķa lomu kolīzija. Aims of the doctoral thesis are, first, to detect and analyze the intentions of Rainis and Vaclav Havel in two stages of their politically relevant activities, i.e., the stage of the unattached intellectual, and the stage of state government agencies or the politician. Second, to undertake a critical appraisal of antagonism or compatibility of the role of the intellectual, and the politician. For this reason, analysis of intentions of Rainis and Havel in context of functions of intellectuals, in each phase of their politically relevant activities, is being carried out. The research gives evidence that Rainis and Havel, in both phases of politically relevant activities, laid claim on holding the authority of leaders of society which is related to the symbolic power to a large extent. A collision between the roles of the intellectual, and that of the politician, comes to the surface, as the intellectual engages in state goverment.
