Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Mijamoto Musaši grāmatas "The Book of Five Rings" tulkojuma no japāņu valodas angļu valodā un no japāņu valodas krievu valodā kontrastīvā analīze”. Darba mērķis ir salīdzināt tulkojumus, uzzināt, kā tie atšķiras, vai tie ir līdzīgi, un atklāt, kā teksts tika adaptēts un lokalizēts attiecīgām auditorijām. Maģistra darba izveidē tika izmantotas kontrastīvā analīze un kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes. Darba sākuma ir norādīta hipotēze: “Avota materiāls tika lokalizēts, bet tulkotāji izmanto dažādas metodes atkarībā no mērķauditorijas”. Hipotēze tika apstiprināta, bet tai ir daži sarežģījumi. Abi tulkojumi ļoti atšķiras viens no otra. Angļu tulkojums ir viegli lasāms un saprotams, tāpēc ka tas tika lokalizēts, bet krievu tulkojumā tika izmantotas citas metodes un tas ir grūti saprotams vidējam lasītājam.

The research paper uses contrastive analysis and qualitative research methods. The hypothesis stated at the beginning of the paper is “The source material is localized, but translators use different methods depending on their target audience.” It is proven right, but it has some complications. Both translations are extremely unlike each other. The English translation is easy to read and understand because it is localized, but the Russian translation uses other methods and is hard to understand for the average reader.
