Ķermeņa valoda Blasko Ibanjesa romānā “Asinis un smiltis’’un tā tulkojumā latviešu valodā. Salīdzinošā analīze un tulkojamības problemātika

Abstract

Darbs ir veltīts ķermeņa valodas analīzei Blasko Ibanjesa romānā “Asinis un smiltis” un tās tulkojumos latviešu valodā. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt ķermeņa valodas lomu un funkciju romānā un tās tulkojamības pakāpi latviešu valodā. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek analizēti pētījumi, kas ir saistīti ar neverbālās komunikācijas lomu, ķermeņa valodu, tās funkcijām un nozīmi literatūrā, un ķermeņa valodas tulkošanas stratēģijām. Praktiskajā daļā tiek analizētas ķermeņa valodas funkcijas un efekti romānā, kā arī tiek pētīta to atveides pakāpe tulkojumos latviešu valodā.pielietojot Fernando Pojatosa (1994), Barbaras Kortes (1997) un Yun-Chi Chang( 2012) metodes. Apkopojot darba rezultātus, galvenie secinājumi liecina, vairumā gadījumu tiek saglabāta neverbālās komunikācijas elementa apraksts un tā nozīme, bet ir kļūdas valodas un sociokulturālās kompetences trūkuma dēļ.

The present work is dedicated to the analysis of the body language in the novel “Blood and Sand”, written by Blasco Ibáńez, and its translation into Latvian. The objective of this research is to analyze the role and function of the body language in the novel and its trans- latability to Latvian. The theoretical part analyzes the role of nonverbal communication, body language, its functions and role in literature, as well as its translation strategies. In the practi- cal part, the functions and effects of the body language in the novel are analyzed, as well as their degree of reproduction in Latvian translations using the methods of Fernando Poyatos (1994), Barbara Korte (1997) and Yun-Chi Chang (2012). Summarizing the results of the work, the main conclusions show that in the majority of cases it is possible to transmit de de- scription of the signifier and its meaning but there are errors due to the lack of linguistic and sociocultural competence.
