| dc.description | On September 2nd, 1922, the 103 cm in circumference giant puffball fungus was found in the park of the Rīgas Sarkankalna vājprātīgo iestāde. Nowadays it is in the Botany and Mycology collections of the Museum of the University of Latvia. The article provides information on finding and sending the fungus to the University of Latvia, as well as a description of the species of the giant puffball (Calvatia gigantea). | en_US |
