Dzīves izvēle un dzīves laiks Fjodora Dostojevska darbos

Abstract

Maģistra darbā “Dzīves izvēle un dzīves laiks Fjodora Dostojevska darbos” tiek pētīts Dostojevska skatījums uz brīvību. Darba gaitā tiek parādīts, ka jautājums par brīvību Dostojevska darbos ir cieši saistīts ar jautājumu par cilvēka pretrunīgo būtību. Ciešanu, gribas un izvēles prizmās brīvība parādās kā Dostojevska tekstu centrālā, integrējošā ass. Dostojevska daiļradē konstatējamo nerimstošo interesi par brīvību var fiksēt kā viņa jautājumu par to, kā modernā laikmetā cilvēks īsteno savu brīvību dzīves izvēlēs un kā šo izvēļu gaismā parādās dzīves laiks, t. i., kā top (vai netop) jēgpilns dzīves uzmetums, kas varētu integrēt un savienot cilvēka antropoloģiskajā nenoteiktībā ieslēptos destruktīvos spēkus. Brīvības jautājums Dostojevska skatījumā ir ciešā mijiedarbībā ar jautājumu par cilvēka būtību. Rakstnieks un domātājs risina sarežģītus brīvības un determinisma jautājumus modernā ētiskā nihilisma un cilvēka antropoloģiskās nenoteiktības kontekstā. Darba mērķis ir parādīt Dostojevska daiļradi kā fokusētu uz cilvēka brīvības problēmu, no kuras izriet cilvēka iekšējie konflikti, kas īpaši raksturo visu moderno laikmetu. Brīvības eksistenciālo dotību, saistītu ar cilvēka novietojumu pasaulē, Dostojevskis redz konkrētās izpausmēs – arī (un primāri) negatīvajās (ciešanas, izmisums, naids, sāpes, ļaunums, apjukums, nihilisms).

The study of Dostoevsky's views on freedom was carried out in the master's thesis entitled “Choice of life and time of life in Fyodor Dostoevsky’s writings”. The close connection of the question of freedom with the question of the contradictory nature of man in Dostoevsky's works is shown in this thesis. In the prisms of suffering, will, and choice, freedom appears as the central, integrating axis of Dostoevsky's works. Relentless interest in the question of freedom in Dostoevsky’s works can be defined as the question of how modern man implements his freedom to make choices and how life time appears in the context of these choices, namely - how to create (or not) a meaningful life plan that could integrate and combine the destructive forces hidden in man’s anthropological uncertainty. For Dostoevsky, the question of freedom is closely interrelated with the question of human nature. Dostoevsky as a writer and thinker addresses complex issues of freedom and determinism in the context of modern ethical nihilism and human anthropological uncertainty. The master's thesis aims to show that Dostoevsky's works are focused on the problem of human freedom, from which arise the inner conflicts of man that characterize the whole of modernity. Dostoevsky sees the existential aspects of freedom, which relate to man's place in the world, in concrete manifestations - including (and especially) the negative ones (suffering, despair, hatred, pain, evil, confusion, nihilism).
