Dž. Serla apziņas intencionalitātes un M. Polaņi netiešo zināšanu koncepciju salīdzinošā analīze

Abstract

Darbs pievērsīsies netiešo zināšanu un intencionalitātes koncepciju salīdzinājumam Maikla Polaņī un Džona Serla darbu kontekstā, parādot dažādās motivācijas un atšķirīgās jēdzienu izpratnes, kas noveda abus domātājus pie līdzīgiem secinājumiem par prāta un ķermeņa attiecībām. Darbā tiks kritiski apskatīta Serla intencionalitātes teorija, kā arī sniegta Polaņī jēdzieniskā ietvara interpretācija, lai pamatotu to, ka Serls pārprot Polaņī, dēvējot viņu par kognitīvistu.

In the bachelor’s thesis, the author will compare John Searle’s theory of Intentionality of the mind against Michael Polanyi’s theory of tacit knowledge in the context of their main works regarding the structure of the mind. In an attempt to describe how the two authors reach similar conclusions on the relationship between the mind and the body, it will be necessary to critically explore their main arguments, while also explaining the differences in the concepts that they both share. The thesis will thus provide an interpretation of Polanyi’s terminology, so that Searle’s argument against cognitivism will not apply to Polanyi’s theory of tacit knowledge, counter to what Searle believes.
