Abstract

Globalizācijas laikmetā ir svarīgi skaidri un saprotami noregulēt starptautisko preču pirkumu-pārdevumu līgumu darbību un no tiem izrietošo strīdu risināšanu.. Ir svarīgi zināt, kad ANO Konvencija par starptautiskajiem preču pirkuma-pārdevuma līgumiem ir piemērojama līgumam, kad tā nav piemērojama, kādi ir noteikumi, kā izvērtēt Konvencijas piemērojamību neviennozīmīgos jautājumos.

In the age of globalization it is important to clearly and understandably regulate inernational sale of goods and the disputes arrising from them. It is important to know when United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is applicable to agreements, when it is not, what are the rules and how to assess the applicability of the Convention when uncertain questions arrise.
