Verbālā inspirācija kā atbilde teoloģiskai krīzei - implikācijas Latvijas teoloģiskajā diskursā

Abstract

Promocijas darbā “Verbālā inspirācija kā atbilde teoloģiskajai krīzei – implikācijas Latvijas teoloģiskajā diskursā” autors analizē Bībeles verbālās inspirācijas domas vēsturi un aizstāv tēzi, ka verbālās inspirācijas doktrīna kristietībā ir veidojusies sasaistē ar dažādām teoloģiskajām krīzēm. Kā viens no teoloģiskās krīzes un ticības Bībeles verbālai inspirācijai rezultātiem tiek aplūkots arī kristīgais fundamentālisms un tā vēsturiskā ietekme uz kristīgo ticību Latvijā. Darba otrajā daļā veikts kvalitatīvs pētījums, kurā daļēji strukturētās intervijās intervēti 29 Latvijas protestantisko baznīcu mācītāji, lai noskaidrotu mūsdienu garīdznieku kā kristīgās kopienas viedokļu līderu pozīciju Bībeles verbālās inspirācijas jautājumā. Pētījumā secināts, ka Latvijas teoloģiskajā diskursā ir novērojamas ļoti izteiktas ticības verbālajai inspirācijai implikācijas, ko apstiprina garīdznieku argumentācijas stratē¬ģijas un Bībeles interpretācijas metodoloģija, risinot baznīcai un sabie¬drībai aktuālus problēm¬jautājumus. In the doctoral thesis “Verbal Inspiration as a Response to the Theological Crisis - Implications in Latvian Theological Discourse” the author analyzes the history of biblical verbal inspiration thought and defends the thesis that the doctrine of the verbal inspiration in Christianity has developed in connection with various theological crises. Christian fundamentalism and its historical influence on the Christian faith are also considered as one of the results of the theological crisis and belief in the verbal inspiration of the Bible in Latvia. In the second part of the paper, a qualitative study was conducted, in which 29 pastors of Latvian Protestant churches were interviewed in semi-structured interviews in order to find out the position of modern clergy as leaders of the Christian community on the issue of biblical inspiration. The study concludes that in the theological discourse of Latvia there are very strong implications of the belief in verbal inspiration, which is confirmed by the strategies of clergy argumentation and the methodology of the Bible interpretation in solving problems relevant to the church and society.
