Priedes skuju paraugs iegūts no Latvijas parastās priedes (Pinus sylvestris), savukārt egles skuju paraugs no Latvijas parastās egles (Picea abies).
The paper summarizes the two methods of spectrometry (ICP-MS and IRMS) and their uses in coniferous studies. Samples of coniferous tree - spruce and pine and soil substrate were studied. The sample of pine needles was obtained from the Latvian pine (Pinus sylvestris), while the sample of spruce needles was obtained from the Latvian pine (Picea abies). Within the master’s work, the elements in both coniferous samples and the isotope relationships of C and N were analysed, as well as their mass shares and the results were compared with each other. The obtained results were evaluated and the regularities between and within the samples were studied.
