Valodu kontakti Latīņamerikā: Portuñol fenomens

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Valodu kontakti Latīņamerikā: portuñol fenomens” ir veltīts divu romāņu valodu, spāņu un portugāļu, savstarpējām valodu saskarsmes sekām Latīņamerikas pierobežas valstīs. Darba mērķis ir noteikt portuñol galvenās īpašības, kā arī tā attīstības perspektīvas. Empīriskajā darba daļā tiek analizēta trīs dažādu autoru literārā daiļrade, lai raksturotu un aprakstītu portuñol lingvistiskās īpatnības. Darba secinājumos tiek aizstāvēta portuñol etnolingvistiskā dzīvotspēja, tā attīstības perspektīvas nākotnē un tā kultūrvēsturiskā nozīme pierobežas identitātes jautājumos. Portuñol trūkst sistemātisku valodas iezīmju, tomēr šis fenomens atspoguļo pierobežu valodu īpašību izpausmes, kurām ir novērojama tendence uz valodu kodu savstarpēju sajaukumu. The Master's Thesis “Language Contacts in Latin America: The Phenomenon of Portuñol” is dedicated to the consequences of the contact between two Romance languages, Spanish and Portuguese, in the border countries of Latin America. The objective of the work is to determine the main characteristics of portuñol, as well as the perspectives for its development. In the empirical part, the literary creations of three different authors are analysed in order to characterize and describe the linguistic peculiarities of portuñol. The ethnolinguistic vitality and the perspective of the development of portuñol in the future and its cultural importance for border identity are defended in conclusions. The portuñol lacks systematic features, however represents more characteristics of a border demonstration with a tendency to code-mixing.
