Baltijas valstu kultūras sadarbība Ziemeļu dimensijas Kultūras partnerības kontekstā (2010-2020)

Abstract

Baltijas valstis, Igaunija, Latvija un Lietuva, ir iesaistītas vairākās reģionālās sadarbības organizācijās, kuras aptver dažādas politiskas, ekonomiskas un sociālas jomas. Viena no tām ir kultūra, kur sadarbība tiek īstenota gan divpusēji un trīspusēji, gan piedaloties plašākos sadarbības formātos. Šis maģistra darbs pēta Baltijas valstu iesaisti Ziemeļu dimensijas Kultūras partnerībā ar mērķi noskaidrot, vai šī organizācija ir veicinājusi kultūras sadarbību starp Baltijas valstīm. Tas tiek darīts, izpētot Baltijas valstu kulturālās sadarbības vēsturi un attīstību, Ziemeļu dimensijas un Kultūras partnerības struktūru un funkcijas un analizējot tās aktivitātes, kas iekļauj Baltijas valstīs, laika posmā no 2010. līdz 2020. gadam. Tiek secināts, ka Ziemeļu dimensijas Kultūras partnerība pārsvarā īsteno uz visu Ziemeļu dimensiju vērstas aktivitātes, bet netiešā veidā tā ir veicinājusi kultūras sadarbību arī starp Baltijas valstīm.

The Baltic States, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, are involved in several organisations of regional cooperation that cover different political, economic and social spheres. One of those is culture, where cooperation is carried out both bilaterally and trilaterally, as well as by participating in wider formats of cooperation. This master’s thesis researches the participation of the Baltic States in the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture with the aim to ascertain whether this organisation has promoted cultural cooperation between the Baltic States. This is done by researching the history and development of the Baltic States’ cultural cooperation, the structure and functions of the Northern Dimension and the Partnership on Culture and analysing its activities involving the Baltic States in the time period between 2010 and 2020. It is concluded that the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture primarily carries out activities aimed at the entire Northern Dimension, but it has promoted cultural cooperation between the Baltic States as well in an indirect way.
