Augstskolas bibliotēkas pārvaldības modeļi un perspektīva

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Augstskolas bibliotēkas pārvaldības modeļi un perspektīva” galvenais mērķis ir analizēt Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēkas un Malmes Universitātes Bibliotēkas pārvaldības modeļus, lai noteiktu galvenos faktorus, uz kuriem balstās augstskolu bibliotēkas, izvēloties pārvaldības modeli. Šim nolūkam darbā par teorētisko bāzi tika izmantotas pārvaldības un lēmumu pieņemšanas teorijas. Lai sasniegtu mērķi un veiktu pētījumu, tika analizēta izvēlēto bibliotēku iekšējā dokumentācija no 2019. līdz 2022. gadam un veiktas intervijas ar bibliotēku direktoriem. Rezultātā tika konstatēts, ka augstskolu bibliotēkas galvenokārt ir atkarīgas no universitātēm, kuru informācijas vajadzībām tās kalpo.

The main aim of the bachelor thesis "University library management models and perspective" is to analyse the management models of the Library of the University of Latvia and the Library of the University of Malmö in order to identify the main factors on which university libraries base their choice of management model. For this purpose, the theoretical basis of the thesis was management and decision-making theories. To achieve the objective and conduct the study, internal documentation of the selected libraries from 2019 to 2022 was analysed and interviews were conducted with the library directors. As a result, it was found that university libraries are mainly dependent on the universities whose information needs they serve.
