Čaldīnī (Cialdini et al, 1975) eksperimenta replikācija pakļāvības inducēšanai ar durvju aizciršanas metodi

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba mērķis bija (1) veikt replikāciju Čaldīnī (Cialdini et al., 1975) trešajam eksperimentam citā kultūrvidē, kā arī (2) taujāt respondentus par pakļāvības iemesliem, lai iegūtu labāku izpratni par strādājošajiem mehānismiem durvju aizciršanas metodē. Pētījuma datu ievākšanai tika izmantoti 46 RTU studenti. Eksperiments lūkojās uz pakļāvību (piekrišana/nepiekrišana) kritiskajai prasībai (būt par grupas vadītāju zēniem (meitenēm) ar uzvedības problēmām divu stundu braucienam uz zoodārzu vienu pēcpusdienu vai vakarpusi). Šī bakalaura darba eksperiments nereplicēja gaidītos rezultātus. Tika piedāvāts jauns teorētisks modelis, kas potenciāli izskaidro pielietotās metodes efektivitāti.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was (1) to replicate the third experiment by Cialdini et al. (1975) in a different cultural context and (2) to survey the respondents about the reasons for compliance in order to gain an improved understanding of the mechanisms at work in the door-in-the-face technique. The study involved 46 students from Riga Technical University. The experiment examined compliance (agreement/disagreement) with a critical request (to act as group leaders for boys (girls) with behavioral problems on a two-hour trip to the zoo for one afternoon or evening). The experiment in this bachelor's thesis did not replicate the predicted results. A new theoretical model was proposed to attempt explaining the effectiveness of the applied method.
