Abstract

Bakalaura darba temats ir Projektu vadītāju komunikācija ar starptautisku projektu dalībniekiem ierobežotā laika periodā. Pētniecības problēma sevī ietver jautājumus par to, kas ir projektu vadītāju galvenās funkcijas un aspekti, kas negatīvi ietekmē starpkultūru komunikācijas efektivitāti. Darba ietvaros pētītas grupu un starpkultūru komunikācijas teorijas, kā arī pētīti veiksmīgs sadarbības ietekmes faktori. Darba izstrādes procesā izmantotas divas pētnieciskās metodes – anketa (kvantitatīvā) un daļēji strukturēta intervija (kvalitatīvā). Abās pētniecības metodēs iegūtie dati tika analizēti un savā starpā salīdzināti, lai saskatītu kopsakarības starp abu iesaistīto pušu pieredzi. Iegūtā informācija salīdzināta ar darba teorētiskajā daļā iegūto informāciju, teorijām un pētījumiem. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot kā projektu vadītāji pilda savas, kā komunikatora, funkcijas un kā tās mijiedarbojas ar projektu dalībniekiem, kuri ir dažādu kultūru pārstāvji. Mērķis ir noskaidro, kas ir šie ietekmes faktori un sniegt ieteikumus kā mazināt to ietekmi turpmākajā projektu koordinēšanas procesā.

The topic of bachelor thesis is Project managers communication with international project participants in a limited period of time. The research problem includes questions about what are the main functions of project managers and what are the aspects that negatively affect the effectiveness of intercultural communication Within the framework of the work, the theories of group and intercultural communication were studied as well as the main influencing factors of successful cooperation were studied. Two research methods were used in the process of developing the wotk – a questionnaire (quantitative) and a semi-structured interview (qualitative). The data obtained in the both researchmethods were analyzed and compared with each other in order to see the connections between the experiences of the two involved parties. The obtained information should be compaired with the information, theories and studies obtained in the theoretical par of work. The aim of the study is to find out how project managers fulfill their functions an communicators and how they interact with project participants who are representatives of different cultures. The goal is to find out ehat these impact factors are and to provide recommendations on how to reduce their impact in the future project coordination process.
