Kontaktlēcu dienas un mēneša nepārtrauktās valkāšanas režīma ietekme uz radzenes parametriem

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 30 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 14 attēlus, 3 tabulas un 33 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot ikmēneša nomaiņas mīksto kontaktlēcu ietekmi uz radzenes topogrāfijas indeksiem atkarībā no kontaktlēcu valkāšanas režīma. Pētījumā piedalījās 12 dalībnieki, kuri 4 nedēļas labajā acī lietoja kontaktlēcas dienas režīmā un kreisajā acī nepārtrauktā valkāšanas režīmā. Tika noskaidrots, ka 4 nedēļas lietojot ikmēneša nomaiņas kontaktlēcas dienas režīmā radzenes parametru izmaiņas nav klīniski nozīmīgas, bet lietojot kontaktlēcas diennakts režīmā, radzenes liekuma rādiusa izmaiņas ir klīniski nozīmīgas.

Bachelor thesis is written in Latvian on 30 pages. It contains 14 figures, 3 tables and 33 references. The aim of the study was to detect the effect of monthly replacement soft contact lenses on corneal topography indices depending on the mode of wearing contact lenses. 12 participants took part in the study, who used contact lenses in the right eye in daytime mode and in the left eye in continuous wearing mode for 4 weeks. It was found that after 4 weeks of using monthly replacement contact lenses in day mode, changes in corneal parameters are not clinically significant, but when using contact lenses in continuous wear, changes in the radius of curvature of the cornea are clinically significant.
