Etnisko faktoru ietekme uz 14. Saeimas vēlēšanu rezultātiem

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ir pētīta etnisko faktoru, galvenokārt, latviešu īpatsvara starp Latvijas Republikas pilsoņiem, ietekme uz 14. Saeimas vēlēšanu rezultātiem Kurzemes, Zemgales, Vidzemes un Latgales vēlēšanu apgabalos. Izmantojot korelācijas un regresijas metodes, tiek noteikta etnisko faktoru ietekme uz partiju iegūto balsu skaitu, par galveno skaitlisko rādītāju ņemot korelācijas koeficientu. Darba rezultāti norāda, ka nelatviešu īpatsvaram starp LR pilsoņiem novados ir ļoti liela nozīme atsevišķu partiju iegūtajam balsu skaitam visos darbā apskatītajos vēlēšanu apgabalos. Savukārt, latviešu īpatsvaram novadā ir izteikta nozīme Kurzemes, Zemgales un Latgales vēlēšanu apgabalos.

In this bachelor’s thesis the influence of ethnic factors, especially the percentage of Latvians among the citizens of the Republic of Latvia, on the results of the 14th Saeima elections in Kurzeme, Zemgale, Vidzeme and Latgale electoral districts has been researched. Using correlation and regression methods, the influence of ethnic factors on the number of votes obtained by the parties is determined, taking the correlation coefficient as the main numerical indicator. The results indicate that the proportion of non-Latvians among the citizens of the Republic of Latvia in the counties is of great importance for the number of votes obtained by individual parties in all examined electoral districts. On the other hand, the proportion of Latvians in the counties is of significant importance in Kurzeme, Zemgale and Latgale electoral districts.
