Postmodernisma un asa sižeta iezīmes Džaspera Forda romānā “Eiras afēra”

Abstract

Pētnieciskā darba mērķis ir analizēt iezīmes un tēmas, kuras raksturīgas postmodernisma un asa sižeta žanram Džaspera Forda novelē Eiras Afēra. Pētījums tika veikts, izmantojot tuvplāna lasīšanas metodi, teksta analīzi, interpretāciju un salīdzināšanas analīzi. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka iezīmes kā intertekstualitāte, pastišs, ironija, epigrāfija, metafikcija, un citas tiek lietotas postmodernisma un asa sižeta stāsta izstrādei. Tēmas, kā literatūras vērtība, tehnoloģija, kara absurds un izmainītais detektīvu arhetips tiek lietoti manāmi bieži ar postmodernās literatūras iezīmēm.

This research aims to analyse the features and themes characteristic to postmodern action genre in Jasper Fforde’s The Eyre Affair. This research was conducted with the use of close reading, text analysis, interpretation and comparative analysis. The results of the research were that features such as intertextuality, pastiche, irony, epigraphs, metafiction, and other are essential for the development of a postmodern action story. Themes such as the value of literature, the subject of technology, the absurdity of war, and the changed detective archetype are incorporated prominently with the postmodern literature features.
