Kuriļu salu konflikta nozīme Krievijas un Japānas starptautiskajās attiecībās

Abstract

Maģistra darbs sastāv no 3 nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā ir apskatīta un analizēta literatūra par starptautiskās ietekmes mehānismiem valstu varas konkurences laikmetā. Otrajā nodaļā aplūkoti un analizēti vēsturiski un ģeopolitiski savstarpējie konflikti starp Japānu un Krieviju, savukārt trešajā nodaļā, pamatojoties uz praktisko pētījumu, tika salīdzināta un izpētīta starptautiskā ietekme uz Japānas un Krievijas attiecībām pēc Krievijas iebrukuma Ukrainā. Pētījuma rezultāti ļauj secināt, ka ņemot vērā Krievijas iebrukumu Ukrainā, kā arī Japānas un Krievijas atšķirīgās ārpolitiskās pozīcijas, maz ticams, ka tiks panākts vēl kāds progress Kuriļu salu strīda risināšanā. Izmantotās metodes: vēsturiskās, salīdzinošās, statistiskās pētījuma metodes, kā arī gadījumu izpēte.

The master's thesis consists of 3 chapters. The first chapter examines and analyzes the literature on the Mechanisms of international influence in the Era of national power competition. The second chapter examines and analyzes the historical and geopolitical mutual conflicts between Japan and Russia, while the third chapter, based on practical research, compared and explored the international impact on Japan-Russia relations after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The results of the study allow us to conclude that, taking into account the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as the different foreign policy positions of Japan and Russia, it is unlikely that any further progress will be achieved in the resolution of the Kuril Islands dispute. Methods used: historical, comparative, statistical research methods, as well as case studies.
