Abstract
Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts mūsdienu un tradicionālo slāvu zīlēšanas veidu analīzei un salīdzinājumam, detalizēti aplūkojot svēto periodu. Darbs sastāv no divām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aplūkoti zīlēšana vēstures aspekti, aprakstītas svētās tradīcijas un tām piesaistītie zīlēšanas veidi. Otrajā nodaļā analizēta seno zīlēšanas metožu transformācija mūsdienu variācijās, kā arī pilnīgi jaunu zīlēšanas prakšu identificēšana. Analizētas arī respondentu atbildes tiešsaistes aptaujā. Darbs varētu ieinteresēt pētniekus, kā arī tos, kurus interesē līdzīga problemātika. This bachelor’s paper is focused on analysis and comparison of modern and traditional divination (fortune-telling) rituals, with an emphasis on those connected to Christmas period. This paper consists of two main parts. First part highlights fortune-telling from a historical perspective and describes the Christmas period divination rituals and their types. In the second part an analysis of the transformation of traditional divination methods into modern variations is performed, as well as the identification of completely new modern divination practices. Additionally, an online survey was carried out and the answers are analyzed as part of this section. The work may be of interest to researchers, as well as anyone interested in similar research questions.
