Klimata politikas īstenošana Eiropas Savienībā, Amerikas Savienotajās Valstīs un Lielbritānijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir ,,Klimata politikas īstenošana Eiropas Savienībā, Amerikas Savienotajās Valstīs un Lielbritānijā”. Šī darba mērķis ir noteikt izvēlēto aktoru prioritātes attiecībā uz klimata pārmaiņu problēmu risināšanu un identificēt aktoru galvenās atšķirības. Izvirzītā mērķa sasniegšanai darba ietvaros tika veikta izvēlēto aktoru klimata politikas dokumentu analīze, pielietojot kritiskās analīzes metodoloģiju. Pētnieciskā darba teorētisko bāzi veido politikas īstenošanas procesa raksturojums un skaidrojums. Darba empīrisko daļu veido trīs izvēlēto aktoru klimata politikas dokumentu analīze, to novērtējums un problēmas vēsturiskās attīstības apraksts. Pētījuma ietvaros tika izvirzīta hipotēze - Galvenās atšķirības klimata politikas īstenošanā ir saistītas ar ekonomikas prioritātēm un ideoloģisko pieeju. Darba ietvaros šī hipotēze daļēji apstiprinās.

The topic of the Bachelor`s Thesis is “The implementation of climate policy in the European Union, the United States and the United Kingdom”. The aim of this work is to identify the priorities of the chosen actors for tackling climate change and identifying their key differences. In order to achieve this objective, the research contains an analysis of the selected actor’s climate policy documents using the critical analysis methodology. The theoretical basis of this research consists of description and clarification of the policy implementation process. The empirical part of this work consists of an analysis of the three selected actor`s climate policy documents, their assessment, and a description about the historical development of the problem. A hypothesis was put forward within this research: The main differences in the implementation of climate policy are related to economic priorities and ideological approaches. This hypothesis was partially confirmed within this research.
