Statistikas jēdzienu apguves novērtējuma rezultātu analīze Latvijas Universitātē un to saistība ar centralizēto eksāmenu rezultātiem

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir "Statistikas jēdzienu apguves novērtējuma rezultātu analīze Latvijas Universitātē un to saistība ar centralizēto eksāmenu rezultātiem", mērķis ir analizēt latviešu valodā adaptētā statistikas novērtēšanas testa rezultātus Latvijas Universitātē un piedāvāt uzlabojumus, lai novērtētu Latvijas Universitātes, precīzāk, matemātikas nodaļas studentu zināšanas statistikas pamatjēdzienu apguvē. Tests ir balstīts uz Kirika Alena (Kirik Allen) 2006. gadā ieviesto statistikas konceptuālo novērtēšanas testu angļu valodā. Ir veikta respondentu sniegto atbilžu analīze, proti, Kronbaha alfas, diskriminācijas indeksa, sarežģītības indeksa novērtēšana katram vienumam, kā arī pārbaudīta testa rezultātu saistība ar respondentu centralizēto eksāmenu panākumiem un citiem rādītājiem. Apvienoti 2023. gada iegūtie dati ar 2022. gada iegūtajiem datiem un ir veikta atkārtota analīze. Balstoties uz šiem rezultātiem, testā ir veiktas izmaiņas, samazinot jautājumu skaitu, tādējādi uzlabojot testa validitāti un uzticamību.

The topic of the Bachelor's thesis is "Analysis of statistical concept inventory results in University of Latvia and its association with the centralised examination scores", the aim of the thesis is to develop a test in Latvian to assess the knowledge of the students of the University of Latvia, more precisely, the department of mathematics, in learning the basic concepts of statistics. The work is largely based on Kirik Allen's dissertation on the statistics concept inventory and the developed test in English. The responses of the respondents have been analysed, i.e. Cronbach's alpha, discrimination index, difficulty index for each item have been estimated, and the relationship of the test scores with the respondents' centralised exam performance and other indicators have been examined. The data from 2023 have been combined with the data from 2022 and re-analysed. Based on these results, changes have been made to the test, reducing the number of questions, thereby improving the validity and reliability of the test.
