Skolu nozīme kopienu ilgtspējīgā attīstībā: Alūksnes novada piemērs

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma “Skolu nozīme kopienu ilgtspējīgā attīstībā: Alūksnes novada piemērs” izvēlēta, jo izglītības pieejamībai vienmēr ir bijusi nozīmīga loma kopienu un vietējo iedzīvotāju dzīves kvalitātē, kā arī demogrāfiskajos un sociālajos procesos un novada ilgtspējīgā attīstībā. Izglītības reforma un mazo skolu slēgšana vienmēr ir bijusi aktuāla tēma, šobrīd tai tiek pievērsta pastiprināta uzmanība, vērtējot tikai ekonomiskos aspektus. Tomēr netiek ņemts vērā, ka skolu slēgšana var veicināt emigrāciju un atlikušo pakalpojumu izzušanu. Maģistra darba mērķis ir sagatavot ieteikumus lauku skolu tīklam, lai saglabātu vietējo kopienu attīstības iespējas. Lai to sasniegtu, izvirzīti šādi uzdevumi: teorētiski pamatot skolas nozīmi vietējo kopienu ilgtspējīgā attīstībā, apzināt esošo lauku skolu tīklu, tā izmaiņas un sagatavot savus priekšlikumus lauku skolu tīkla modelim, lai noturētu kopienu “dzīvīgumu”. Darbs strukturāli ietver ievada daļu, aprakstošo daļu par skolu kā kopienas dzīvē būtisku sastāvdaļu, statistikas datu analīzi par izpētes objektu, secinājumus un priekšlikumu lauku skolu tīkla modelim, kā arī literatūras avotu sarakstu un pielikumus.

The study "The importance of schools in the sustainable development of communities: the example of Aluksne county" was chosen because access to education has always played an important role in the quality of life of communities and local residents, as well as in demographic and social processes and in the sustainable development of the county. Education reform and the closing of small schools has always been a relevant topic, now it is being paid more attention, evaluating only the economic aspects. However, it does not take into account that school closures can encourage emigration and the disappearance of remaining services. The aim of the master's thesis is to prepare recommendations for a network of rural schools in order to preserve the development opportunities of local communities. In order to achieve this, the following tasks have been set: to theoretically substantiate the importance of the school in the sustainable development of local communities, to identify the existing rural school network, its changes, and to prepare proposals for the rural school network model in order to maintain the "liveliness" of the communities. The work structurally includes an introductory part, a descriptive part about the school as an essential part of community life, statistical data analysis about the object of research, conclusions and a proposal for a rural school network model, as well as a list of literature sources and appendices.
