Suburbanizācijas process Rīgā pilsētas ilgtspējīgas attīstības kontekstā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Suburbanizācijas process Rīgā pilsētas ilgtspējīgas attīstības kontekstā” mērķis ir sekmēt Rīgas pilsētas ilgtspējīgu attīstību, piedāvājot risinājumus suburbanizācijas procesa samazināšanai Rīgas aglomerācijā. Izstrādātie priekšlikumi balstās uz literatūras studijām un veiktajām Pierīgas iedzīvotāju aptaujām. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka svarīgākie faktori, izvēloties dzīvi Pierīgā ir iespēja dzīvot privātmājā, kam seko tuvums dabai un klusums un miers. Kopumā valda augsta apmierinātība ar savas dzīvesvietas kvalitāti. Tika noskaidrots, ka Pierīgas iedzīvotāju vērtējumu par Rīgas vides kvalitāti būtu iespējams uzlabot, paplašinot un saglabājot pilsētas zaļās teritorijas. Lielai daļai cilvēku ir pozitīva attieksme pret iespēju savus mobilitātes paradumus veidot videi draudzīgākus. Secināts, ka suburbanizācijas process Rīgā visdrīzāk turpināsies, tāpat nav pamata domāt, ka varētu beigties Rīgas sarukšana, tāpēc ir nepieciešama šiem faktoriem pielāgota urbānā plānošana.

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Suburbanization Process in the Context of Riga City Sustainable Development" is to promote the sustainable development of Riga by offering solutions to reduce the process of suburbanization in the Riga agglomeration. The developed proposals are based on literature studies and conducted surveys of the residents of Riga’s suburbs. The obtained results show that the most important factors when choosing to live in suburbs are the opportunity to live in a detached house, followed by proximity to nature and silence and peace. In general, there is high satisfaction with the quality of life in the suburbs. It was established that it would be possible to improve the assessment of the quality of Riga's environment by expanding and preserving the city's green areas. A large number of people have a positive attitude towards the possibility of making their mobility habits more environmentally friendly. It is concluded that the process of suburbanization in Riga will most likely continue, and there is no reason to think that the shrinking of Riga could end, therefore urban planning adapted to these factors is necessary.
