Viltusdraugu problemātika mutiskajā tulkošanā: piemēri latviešu, angļu un franču valodās

Abstract

Pētnieciskā darba mērķis ir noskaidrot viltusdraugu ietekmi uz mutisko tulkošanas procesu. Viltusdraugi ir pētīti dažādās valodu kombinācijās un no dažādiem aspektiem. Pētījumi liecina, ka šajā gadsimtā latviešu valodā krietni pieaudzis maldinošo aizguvumu skaits, kuri pastāv arī frazeoloģiskajā valodas līmenī. Šajā pētījumā tie pētīti no angļu un franču valodām latviešu valodā. Teorētiskajā daļā ir iekļauts problēmas iztirzājums, kas saistīts ar viltusdraugiem no angļu un franču valodas latviešu valodā un mutvārdu tulkošanas teoriju. Praktiskajā daļā tika analizēta aptauja, kurā piedalījās tulki, kas strādā Eiropas Savienības institūcijās un Latvijas vietējā tirgū. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka viltusdraugi rada problēmas mutiskajā tulkošanā un diahroniskās izmaiņas ietekmē izpratni par viltusdraugu nozīmi. Tāpēc nepieciešams atjaunot informācijas resursus par viltusdraugiem latviešu valodā.

The goal of the study is to identify the impact of false friends on the interpreting process. False friends have been studied in various language combinations and from different perspectives. Research shows that the number of deceptive loans in Latvia, which also exist at the idiomatic level of the language, has increased considerably in this century. In this paper, they were analysed from English and French into Latvian. The theoretical part consists of an explanation of the issue related to false friends from the English and French languages into Latvian, and interpreting theory. In the empirical part, the survey data was analysed, which was conducted with interpreters working in the European Union institutions and in the Latvian local market. Study results show that false friends can cause issues in interpreting. The diachronic change impacts the meaning of false friends, thus indicating the necessity of renewed information resources on false friends in Latvian.
