Andreja Upīša autobiogrāfiskie motīvi rakstu krājumā “Rīta cēliens” un to interpretācija Imanta Kalniņa oratorijā

Abstract

Pētījums “Andreja Upīša autobiogrāfiskie motīvi rakstu krājumā “Rīta cēliens” un to interpretācija Imanta Kalniņa oratorijā” ir mēģinājums analizēt A. Upīša dzīves un radošās darbības gājumu, atklājot dažādu autobiogrāfisko motīvu interpretāciju autora dzejā un prozā un salīdzinot tos ar Imanta Kalniņa oratorijas “Rīta cēliens” literāro materiālu. Rakstu krājums “Rīta cēliens” tapis kā A. Upīša 25 gadu literārās darbības apskats – tajā rakstnieks iekļāvis savu autobiogrāfiju “Mana dzīve un darbs”, kā arī apkopojis paraugus no visām tām rakstniecības nozarēm, kurās šajā laikā darbojies. Savukārt Imanta Kalniņa oratorija “Rīta cēliens” komponēta kā veltījums rakstnieka 100. jubilejai, kas tika atzīmēta 1977. gadā. Atsevišķi aplūkojot A. Upīša rakstu krājumā ietverto autobiogrāfiju, dzejas un prozas tekstus saistībā ar dramaturga Pētera Pētersona veidoto oratorijas libreta salikumu, pētījumā tiek noskaidroti būtiskākie motīvi abos darbos, kā arī salīdzināta to attiecība starp literatūru un mūziku.

The research work “Autobiographical motifs of Andrejs Upīts’ in the article stock “The Morning Act” and their interpretation in the oratorio of Imants Kalniņš” is an attempt to analyse the life and creative activity of A. Upīts’, revealing an interpretation of different motifs in author's poetry and prose and comparing them with the literary material of Imants Kalniņš oratorio “The Morning Act”. The article stock “The Morning Act” was created as an overview of A. Upīts’ 25 year literary activity – in this the writer has included his autobiography “My life and work” and also collected samples from all those branches of writing he has been working in during this time. Conversely, the oratorio “The Morning Act” was composed by Imants Kalnins as a tribute for the writer's 100th anniversary, which was celebrated in 1977. Looking separately at the autobiography contained in A. Upits' article stock , at author's poetry and prose texts related with the composition of libretto by playwriter Peteris Petersons, the research identifies the most important motifs of both works as well as compares their relationship between literature and music.
