Kalpojošā vadība kā draudžu vadības modelis 21. gs. Latvijas Apvienotajā metodistu baznīcā

Abstract

Draudžu vadība 21.gadsimtā garīdzniekiem dažākārt ir izaicinājums, kur nākas izmantot ne tikai baznīcas dogmatikas, tradīcijas, bet arī adaptēt idejas, konceptus, kas tiek izstādāti sekulārā pasaulē. Darba mērķis ir apskatīt Latvijas Apvienotās metodistu baznīcas draudžu un kalpošanu vadību 21.gadsimtā, par pamatu ņemot Apvienotās metodistu baznīcas “Disciplīnu grāmatā” minēto kalpojošo vadību (servant leadership), kuras sākotnējo konceptu piedāvā R.K.Grīnlīfs. Nepietiekamais kalpojošās vadības skaidrojums gan “Disciplīnas grāmatā”, gan pēc R.K.Grīnlīfa apraksta, ļauj draudzēm to interpretēt un pielietot dažādi. Arī Latvijas Apvienotās metodistu baznīcas mācītāji, kalpojošo vadību skaidro dažādi, bet līdzīgi, kā to apraksta R.K.Grīnlīfs, kā arī uzskata, ka šāds modelis ir baznīcai piemērots un arī praktiski pielietojams.

Church leadership in the 21st century is sometimes a challenge for clergy, where they have to use not only church dogmatics and traditions, but also adapt ideas and concepts that are presented in the secular world. The aim of the work is to review the management of congregations and ministry of the United Methodist Church of Latvia in the 21st century, taking as a basis the servant leadership mentioned in “the Book of Disciplines" of the United Methodist Church, the initial concept of which is proposed by R.K. Greenleaf. The insufficient explanation of servant leadership both in the "Book of Discipline" and according to R.K. Greenleaf's description, allows churches to interpret and apply it in different ways. The pastors of the United Methodist Church of Latvia also explain the servant leadership in different ways, but similarly, as described by R.K.Greenleaf and also believe that such a model is suitable for the church and can also be practically applied.
