Krustpils pilsētas pašvaldības galvenie darbības virzieni no 1919.-1940. gadam

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt Krustpils pilsētas pašvaldības darbību laika posmā no 1919. gada līdz 1940. gadam, kā piemēru izmantojot Krustpils pašvaldības galvenos darbības virzienus. Krustpils Pirmā pasaules kara laikā tika pamatīgi nopostīta, līdz ar ko maģistra darbs sniedz ieskatu, kādā veidā pilsētas pašvaldība veica atkopšanās procesu un uzsāka attīstību, darbojoties sociālajā un saimnieciskajā virzienā. Sociālā joma stabilizēja un uzturēja pilsētas iedzīvotāju labklājību un labsajūtu, savukārt saimnieciskā joma – veicināja infrastruktūras nostiprināšanu, piesaistot finansiālus līdzekļus. Maģistra darba rezultātā tiktu raksturota Krustpils pilsētas pašvaldības darba metodika un svarīgākie saimnieciskie un sociālie jautājumi, kas pievērš pastiprinātu uzmanību, tādā veidā papildinot Latvijas mazpilsētu pašvaldību darbību apskatu.

The aim of the Master’s work is to explore the activities of the municipality of the city of Krustpils during the period from 1919 to 1940, using the main activities of the municipality of Krustpils as an example. Krustpils was thoroughly destroyed during the First World War, thus providing an insight into the way in which the city municipality carried out the recovery process and developed itself in the social and economic direction. The social sector stabilised and maintained the well-being of the city population, while the economic sector contributed to the strengthening of city’s infrastructure by raising financial resources. As a result of the research, the methodology for the work of the municipality of Krustpils City and the key economic and social issues, which pay increased attention, would be described in such a way as to complement the activities of Latvian small-town municipalities.
