| dc.description | The researchers of the life course of the famous rocket engineer, Riga native Fridrich Cander, knew that he had observed Halley's comet 110 years ago in 1910, because Cander himself had written about it in the German newspapers of Riga. He had placed two drawings of a comet in his notebook, so his biographers believed that the drawings depicted Halley's Comet. Museum expert Ilgonis Vilks concluded that Halley's Comet is not in the drawings because the date did not match. Second, the representation of the comet did not match. | en_US |

Savā piezīmju burtnīcā viņš bija ievietojis divus komētas zīmējumus, tāpēc viņa biogrāfijas pētnieki uzskatīja, ka zīmējumos attēlota Haleja komēta.
