Intensīvās terapijas nodaļas pacientu piederīgo iesaiste un līdzestība aprūpes procesā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Intensīvās terapijas nodaļas pacientu piederīgo iesaiste un līdzestība aprūpes procesā”. Pētījuma darba tēmas izvēle tika balstīta to, ka liela nozīme ir pacienta un viņu piederīgo līdzestībai, personas attieksmei un vēlmei iesaistīties sava veselības stāvokļa uzlabošanā. Pētījuma mērķis ir novērtēt Intensīvās terapijas nodaļas pacientu piederīgo iesaisti un līdzestību aprūpes procesā. Pētījuma jautājums: Kāda ir Intensīvās terapijas nodaļas pacientu piederīgo iesaiste un līdzestība aprūpes procesā? Pētījums tika veikts vienā no Latvijas X universitātes slimnīcām. Pētniecības darba mērķa sasniegšanai tiks pielietots kvalitatīvs pētījums. Kā pētījuma instruments tiek izvēlēta intervija. Pētījumā gaitā tika intervētas 10 ITN māsas. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka ITN pacientu piederīgo iesaiste un līdzestība aprūpes procesā ir būtiski svarīga, lai nodrošinātu optimālu pacientu aprūpi un atveseļošanos. Piederīgo iesaiste veicina pacientu labklājību un ātrāku atveseļošanos, piedāvājot emocionālu atbalstu, skaidrojot medicīniskās procedūras un veicinot sadarbību starp medicīnas personālu un piederīgajiem.

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis: “Involvement and compliance of relatives in an ICU’s care process”. The choice of the research topic was based on the fact that improvement of the patient’s health is dependent on the patients’ and relatives’ attitude, involvement in the process, and desire to improve the health of the patient. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the involvement and compliance of patients in the ICU’s care process. Research question: “What is the engagement and compliance of relatives of a patient in ICU’s care process?” The current research study was conducted in one of the Latvian university hospitals. The current study is based mainly on qualitative research methods, whereas interviews are chosen as the main research technique. A total of 10 ICU qualified nurses were interviewed. The results of the study show that the involvement and compliance of ICU patients’ relatives in the care process is essential to ensure optimal patient care and recovery. Engagement of relatives promotes patient well-being and faster recovery due to emotional support provided to the patient and the improved collaboration of all parties involved. Furthermore, relatives help to elucidate medical procedures for the patient.
