Spilves lidostas attīstība 1920.- 1940.

Abstract

Aviācijas nozare Latvijas Republikā sāka strauji attīstīties 20. gs. divdesmitajos gados, nākamajā desmitgadē sasniedzot strauju augšupeju. Darba nosaukums ir „Spilves lidostas attīstība 1920.–1940.”, darbs izstrādāts ar mērķi pētīt civilās aviācijas infrastruktūras rašanos un attīstību Latvijā, Spilves aerodromā, laika posmā starp Pirmo un Otro pasaules karu. Kā pirmavoti darbā izmantoti preses materiāli, kas satur bagātīgu faktoloģisko informāciju, kā arī Latvijas Valsts vēstures arhīva fondu materiāli, darbā iekļautas iepriekš nepublicētas fotogrāfijas no autores ģimenes arhīva. Darbs sadalīts četrās nodaļās, kurās atspoguļota civilās aviācijas attīstība 1918. – 1940. gadā, Latvijas Aerokluba darbība, planierisma un lidmodelisma, lidmašīnu būves attīstība un aviācijas svētki, Spilves lidlauka infrastruktūras attīstība, kā arī gaisa satiksmes līniju izveide un darbība.

The aviation industry in the Republic of Latvia started to rapidly develop in the 1920s, and in the following decade it grew significantly. The title of the paper is "The development of Spilve aerodrome 1920-1940" and the aim of the thesis is to examine the emergence and devel-opment of civil aviation infrastructure in Latvia between the First and Second World Wars with an emphasis on case study of Spilve aerodrome. The primary sources used in the work are press materials, which contain a wealth of information, as well as materials from the Latvian State Historical Archives, the work includes previously unpublished photographs from the author's family archive. The work is divided into two chapters, which cover the development of civil avi-ation in 1918-1940, the nature of the Latvian Aero Club, gliding and aeromodelling, the devel-opment of aircraft construction and aviation festivals, development of Spilve airfield infrastruc-ture, as well as the emergence of air routes.
