Vidzemes-Latgales gūstekņu nometne Latvijas Neatkarības karā 1919.-1920.gadā: ieslodzīto sociālais portrets

Abstract

Pētījums veikts par historiogrāfijā līdz šim neaplūkotu tēmu – Latvijas armijas Vidzemes–Latgales gūstekņu nometnē (1919–1921) nonākušajām personām. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt Vidzemes–Latgales gūstekņu nometnē nonākušo (karagūstekņu, pār fronti pārbēgušo, bēgļu un arestēto) personu sociālo identitāti un pieredzi Neatkarības kara norišu kontekstā, izveidojot minēto personu sociālo portretu. Darbā secināts, ka kara apstākļi ietekmēja ļoti plašu sabiedrības grupu, vecumu, tautību un ticību pārstāvjus, nosakot to izvēles, kuras rezultējās gan militārpersonu, gan civilpersonu nonākšanā Vidzemes–Latgales gūstekņu nometnē.

The research addresses a previously unexplored topic in historiography: individuals who were detained in the Vidzeme–Latgale POW camp (1919–1921) by the Latvian army. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to analyze the social identity and experiences of those who ended up in the Vidzeme–Latgale POW camp (including prisoners of war, deserters, refugees, and arrestees) within the context of the Latvian War of Independence, creating a social portrait of these individuals. The paper concludes that the war conditions affected a broad spectrum of society, including various ages, religions and nationalities, which influenced their decisions, resulting in both military personnel and civilians being detained in the Vidzeme–Latgale POW camp.
