Pieaugošo izejvielu izmaksu ietekme uz Latvijas koksnes produktu nozari

Abstract

Koka produktu industrija ir būtiska Latvijas ekanomikas sastāvdaļa, saskaras ar potenciāliem riskiem, kurus ir radījuši nesenie globalie notikumi, kas ir izraisījuši materiālu cenu svārstības. Nevar nenovērtēt tik apjomīgas nozares ilgtspēju un rentabilitāti Latvijas ekonomikas kontekstā. Ņemot vērā, ka Latvijas uzņēmumi lielā mērā paļaujas uz importētiem koksnes materiāliem, un tas cik ļoti šī industrija ir atkarīga no citām ekonomikām un globālo ekonomisko situāciju var radīt bažas. Bakalaura darba "Pieaugošo izejvielu izmaksu ietekme uz Latvijas koksnes produktu nozari" pētījuma jautājums bija: "Kā palielinātas izejvielu izmaksas ietekmē Latvijas koksnes izstrādājumu nozari?". Šī darba mērķis bija analizēt un izprast izejvielu cenu pieauguma ietekmi uz dažādiem Latvijas koksnes produktu nozares aspektiem. Darba trešajā daļā tika apstiprināta hipotēze, ka izejvielu cenu pieaugums negatīvi ietekmē Latvijas koksnes izstrādājumu nozares uzņēmumus, bet ietekmes smagums atkarīgs no apakšnozares un pievienotās vērtības uz vienu produktu. Galvenie izejvielu cenu pieauguma faktori bija sankcijas, inflācija un COVID-19. Darbs sastāv no 70 lappusēm, 1 attēla, 3 tabulām un 6 pielikumiem. The wood product industry, a significant contributor to the Latvian economy, is facing potential risks that were caused by recent global events that have led to material price fluctuations. The sustainability and profitability of an industry of such magnitude cannot be underestimated. Given that Latvian companies heavily rely on imported wood materials, their vulnerability to other economies and the global economic situation is a cause for concern. The bachelor’s thesis, “Analyzing the impact of increased raw material costs on the Latvian wood product industry,” had a research question: “How do the increased raw material costs impact the Latvian wood product industry?”. The goal of this thesis was to analyze and understand the impacts of raw material price increases on different aspects of the Latvian wood product industry. The third part of this thesis confirmed the hypothesis that price increases for raw materials negatively affect the companies in the Latvian wood product industry, but the severity depends on the subsector and value-added per product. The main factors for increasing raw material costs were Sanctions, inflation, and COVID-19. The thesis consists of 70 pages, 1 figure, 3 tables, and 6 appendices.
