Ilgstošā bezdarba risku ietekmējošie faktori Latgales reģionā

Abstract

Ekonomiskās attīstības veicināšanai un labklājības uzlabošanai reģionos ir nozīmīgi pilnvērtīgi izmantot pieejamos cilvēkresursus. Tāpēc šī darba ietvaros ar statistisko metodi un loģistiskajiem modeļiem tiek pētīts Latgales reģiona augstais ilgstošā bezdarba līmenis un tā ietekmējošie faktori. Pētījuma rezultātā tika atklāts, ka Latgales reģionā augstāks ilgstošā bezdarba risks ir bezdarbniekiem ar sekojošām pazīmēm – vīrietis, nav laulātā vai kopdzīves partnera, nelatvietis, zems vai vidējs izglītības līmenis, 50–64 gadu vecums, vienkāršā profesija pēdējā darbavieta. Šie riska faktori ietekmē ilgstošā bezdarba risku ne tikai Latgalē, bet arī pārējos reģionos. Tikai Rīgas un Pierīgas reģionos ir statistiski nozīmīgi zemāks ilgstošā bezdarba risks nekā Latgales reģionā. Tomēr vispārējā bezdarba risks visos pārējos reģionos ir nozīmīgi zemāks nekā Latgales reģionā.

To promote economic development and improve welfare in regions, it is important to use available human resources fully. Therefore, within the framework of this work, the high level of long-term unemployment in the Latgale region and its influencing factors are studied using the statistical method and logit models. As a result of the research, it was discovered that the risk of long-term unemployment in the Latgale region is higher for unemployed people with the following characteristics – male, no spouse or cohabiting partner, non-Latvian, low or medium level of education, age 50–64, simple professions as the last job. These risk factors affect the risk of long-term unemployment not only in Latgale, but also in other regions. Only the Riga and Pieriga regions have a statistically significantly lower risk of long-term unemployment than the Latgale region. However, the risk of general unemployment in all other regions is significantly lower than in the Latgale region.
