Dabas atainojums Bananas Jošimoto daiļradē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Dabas atainojums Bananas Jošimoto daiļradē” tiek apskatītas dabas simbolu nozīmes Japānas literatūrā, un tiek apskatīts, kā šie simboli parādās Bananas Jošimoto daiļradē. Tēmas aktualitāte balstās uz faktu, ka, neskatoties uz to vērā ņemamo pētījumu daudzumu par dabu Japānas literatūrā, un par pašas Bananas Jošimoto daiļradē atrodamajiem motīviem – šīs abas tēmas pētniecībā, ne angļu, ne latviešu valodā, nav tikušas apvienotas. Šis dod iespēju veikt patiesu ieguldījumu Japānas literatūras pētniecībā. Darbs tika veidots ar mērķi ļaut šī bakalaura darba lasītājam gūt padziļinātu ieskatu gan pašas Bananas Jošimoto, gan visā Japānas literatūrā meklējamajos dabas simbolos, sniegt lasītajam priekšstatu par attiecīgās autores daiļradē meklējamo dabas simbolu iespējamo dziļāko nozīmi, un secināt, vai attiecīgajos, šī darba ietvaros pētītajos romānos meklējamo dabas simbolu lietojums sakrīt ar plašāku, Japānas kulturālo kontekstu. Darba nobeigumā tika secināts, ka Bananas Jošimoto daiļradē daba parādās, un tās lietojumā ir manāmas atsevišķas likumsakarības, bet piemēru tam daudz nav, un autore dabas vietā uzsvaru liek uz stāsta varoņu emocijām un attiecībām. Darbs tiek veidots pēc kontekstanalīzes, biogrāfiskās, diskursa un salīdzināšanas metodēm. Darbs ir veidots latviešu valodā. Tā apjoms ir četrdesmit viena lapaspuse.

In the bachelor’s thesis “The Depiction of Nature in the Works of Banana Yoshimoto”, the meaning of symbols pertaining to nature within Japanese literature is examined, and it is explored how these symbols appear in Banana Yoshimoto’s works. The relevancy of this topic is based in the fact that, despite there being a considerable amount of research regarding nature in Japanese literature, as well as regarding the themes present in Banana Yoshimoto’s works, within scientific research, neither in English, nor in Latvian, have these topics been combined. This fact gives the opportunity to make a real contribution in the field of Japanese literary research. The work was created with the goal of allowing the reader of this thesis to deepen their insight regarding both the natural symbols found both within Banana Yoshimoto’s works, and within wider Japanese literature, to allow the reader to understand the possible deeper meaning of the natural symbols found within the author’s works, and to conclude whether the usage of the symbols found within the novels studied in this thesis correspond to the wider context of Japanese culture. In the conclusion of the work, it was stated, that in the works of Banana Yoshimoto, nature is present, and in its usage, certain patterns are visible. However, there are not many examples to this, and the author instead focuses on the emotions and relationships of the story’s characters. The work is produced by the methods of contextual, biographical, discourse and comparative analysis. The work is written in Latvian. Its volume is forty-one pages.
