Darba nosaukums ir “Theosis per techné: transhumānisma mūžīgās dzīves projekts”. Šajā darbā tiek pētīta transhumānisma un maģiskās domāšanas mijiedarbība, izvirzot tēzi, ka transhumānisma un maģiskās domāšanas sintēze var tikt interpretēta kā jauna teozes (dievišķošana) izpausme. Pētījumā aplūkots, kā cilvēka izziņa un attiecības ar fizikālo realitāti, izmantojot digitālās tehnoloģijas un mākslīgo intelektu, provocē “maģijas” elementus. Analizējot tehnoloģiskās singularitātes filozofiskās un teoloģiskās konsekvences, darbā tiek parādīta transhumānisma reliģiskā dimensija un progresa mīta nozīme, kā arī seno teurģijas prakšu konverģence ar transhumānisma mērķiem. Rezultātā tiek apgalvots, ka transhumānisma centieni pēc mūžīgās dzīves ar tehnoloģisku uzlabojumu palīdzību var tikt uztverti par sekulāru pieeju nemirstības un dievišķošanās sasniegšanai. Title of the thesis is “Theosis per techne: the project of eternal life of transhumanism”. This thesis explores the interaction between transhumanism and magical thinking, proposing that the synthesis of transhumanism and magical thinking can be interpreted as a new form of theosis ('divinization'). The study examines how human cognition and the relationship with physical reality, through digital technologies and artificial intelligence, provoke elements of “magic”. By analysing the philosophical and theological implications of the technological singularity, the paper presents the religious dimension of transhumanism and the significance of the myth of progress, as well as the convergence of ancient theurgical practices with transhumanist goals. As a result, it is argued that transhumanism's quest for eternal life through technological enhancement can be seen as a secular approach to achieving immortality and divinization.
