Komentēts Aristoteļa traktāta "Par atmiņu un atsaukšanu atmiņā" tulkojums latviešu valodā

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir izveidot komentētu Aristoteļa traktāta "Par atmiņu un atsaukšanu atmiņā" tulkojumu latviešu valodā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā aplūkots traktāts Aristoteļa korpusa kontekstā, vēršot uzmanību Aristoteļa rakstības stilam un terminu un pierādījumu veidošanas paņēmieniem, kā arī atsevišķi aspekti no tulkošanas teorijas, balstoties kuros, izvēlētas tulkošanas stratēģijas traktāta tulkojuma veikšanai. Darba praktiskajā daļā veikta traktāta atslēgleksēmu un atsevišķu fragmentu tulkojuma mērķtekstā analīze. Darba rezultātā izveidots literārs traktāta tulkojums un veikti valodnieciski komentāri par atslēgleksēmu un atsevišķu tekstvietu tulkojumu.

The aim of the master's thesis is to create a commented translation of Aristotle's treatise "On Memory and Recollection" into Latvian. The theoretical part of the research examines the treatise in the context of Aristotelian Corpus, drawing attention to Aristotle's writing style and techniques of creating terms and demonstrations, as well as aspects from the theory of translation, based on whom translation strategies were chosen for the translation of the treatise. In the practical part of the study, an analysis of the key lexemes and translations of individual fragments into the target text of the treatise is carried out. As a result of the study a literary translation of the treatise as well as linguistic comments on key lexemes and translations of various fragments have been created.
