The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the legal problems that are raised by wearable technologies and smart clothing in the framework of existing privacy and data protection regulations, particularly the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This research analyses the efficient implementation of these regulations in decreasing the distinctive privacy potential risks that result from the implementation of technological devices into a person's everyday life. It analyses the GDPR's effectiveness through doctrinal and comparative legal analysis and highlights subjects where present legislation fails to effectively safeguard user privacy in light of wearable technology capabilities. The thesis recognizes these technologies' vulnerability to unauthorized access and data breaches, highlighting the importance of firm security measures and strong legal compliance to protect user privacy while increasing assurance. The results highlight the importance of establishing a balance between advancements in technology and privacy protection in the rapidly evolving digital fashion scene.en_US
