| dc.description | For the needs of the time service of the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Latvia, in 1924, a special room for precise clocks was built in the basement of the building at Raiņa boulevard 19. It was protected against environmental vibrations and temperature changes so as not to interfere with the operation of the precise clocks. The room served until 1960, when the time service was moved to an observation station in the Botanical Garden of the Latvian State University. | en_US |

Tā bija nodrošināta pret apkārtējās vides vibrācijām un temperatūras maiņām, lai netraucētu precīzo pulksteņu gaitai.
