Ainavas elementu nozīme Gaujas un Daugavas lībiešu kapulauku novietojumā vēlajā dzelzs laikmetā

Abstract

Šis pētījums apskata Gaujas un Daugavas lībiešu kapulauku novietojumu ainavā vēlajā dzelzs laikmetā, izmantojot ģeogrāfiskās informācijas sistēmas (ĢIS) un telpiskās analīzes metodes. Pārredzamības analīze, reljefa profila analīze un kapulauka tuvākās apkārtnes analīze ļauj padziļināti aplūkot un izvērtēt kapulauku situāciju ainavā. Rezultāti norāda, ka atkarībā no kapulauka atrašanas reģiona tiem ir vērojamas sakritības senkapu novietojuma ziņā, kas ir saistāmas ar lībiešu reliģiskajiem priekšstatiem un kultūras īpatnībām. Šis pētījums sniedz jaunu ieskatu Daugavas un Gaujas lībiešu saiknē ar ainavu un apbedīšanas tradīcijām.

This study examines the position of the Liv burials of the Gauja and Daugava rivers in the landscape during the Late Iron Age using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis methods. Visibility analysis, terrain profile analysis and analysis of the immediate surroundings of the burials allow for an in-depth view and assessment of the situation of the burials in the landscape. The results indicate that, depending on the region in which the burial is located, there are overlaps in the position of the burials, which can be attributed to the religious beliefs and cultural characteristics of the Livs. This study provides new insights into the relationship of the Livs of the Daugava and Gauja rivers with the landscape and burial traditions.
