Abstract

Maģistra darbs pievēršas metaforas kā lingvistiska, intelektuāla un kultūras fenomena teorētiskās izpratnes jautājumiem. Pētījumā aplūkotas semantiskās līdzības, ko metafora spēj radīt cilvēka runas darbībā, tās netriviālie nozīmes pārnesumi, analoģijas un asociācijas. Tādējādi mēģināsim noteikt metaforas ontoloģisko būtību un parādīt, kā pasaules attēls ir metaforisks. Atsauksimies arī uz itāļu valodas tekstiem, galvenokārt uz nepietiekami pētītiem cantautore autoru tekstiem, lai analizētu metaforu tulkojumā, tās starpvalodu un starpkultūru specifiku.

This master's thesis focuses on the issues of theoretical understanding of metaphor as a linguistic, intellectual and cultural phenomenon. The research examines the semantic resemblances that metaphor is able to create in human speech activity, its non-trivial transfers of meaning, analogies and associations. Hereby we will try to identify the ontological essence of metaphor and show how the world picture is metaphorical. We will also refer to Italian fiction texts, mainly to the underexplored texts of cantautore authors, in order to analyze metaphor in translation, its interlingual and intercultural specificity.
