Ilustrētas gadskārtu tautasdziesmu izlases vizuālā stilistika

Abstract

Loretas Sargunes diplomdarba tēma ir “Ilustrētas gadskārtu tautasdziesmu izlases vizuālā stilistika”. Diplomdarba mērķis ir, pētot jau izdotus tautasdziesmu izdevumus, izveidot oriģinālu dizaina izdevumu ar digitāli veidotām ilustrācijām. Teorētiskajā daļā ir apskatīts tautasdziesmu jēdziens, to vēsture un uzbūve, kā arī klasifikācija un nozīme mūsdienu kultūrā. Pētīts izlases mākslinieciskais un funkcionālais noformējums, kas iekļauj izlases formātu un izmēru, burtveidola izvēli un teksta izkārtojumu, vāka noformējumu, ilustrāciju veidus un to kompozīciju. Ir arī pētīta tautasdziesmu ilustrēšanas vēsture, atpazīstamākie mākslinieki un ilustrāciju saturs, paņēmieni un tehnikas. Pētnieciskajā daļā analizē tautasdziesmu izdevumu dizaina paraugus. Tiek analizēts izmērs, izkārtojuma režģis, burtveidols, ilustrāciju novietojums lapas izkārtojumā un to tehnika un saturs. Radošajā daļā aprakstīts tautasdziesmu izlases tapšanas process: tautasdziesmu atlase, izkārtojuma režģa izveide, burtveidola izvēle, ilustrāciju un izlases maketa izveide, planšešu dizaina izveide.

The topic of Loreta Sargune’s diploma thesis is “Visual Stylistics of Illustrated Selection of Seasonal Folk Songs”. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create an original design edition with digital illustration by studying already published editions of folk songs. The theoretical part reviews the concept of folk songs, their history and structure, as well as how they are classified and their meaning in contemporary culture. The artistic and functional design of the selection has been studied, including the format and size of the selection, the choice of typeface and the layout of the text, the cover design, the types of illustrations and their composition. The history of folk song illustrating the most well-known artists and the content, techniques and methods of illustration are also explored. The research part analyses examples design samples of folk song publications. Size, layout grid, typeface, position of illustrations in the page layout and their technique and content are analysed. The creative part describes the process of creating a selection of folk songs: selection of folk songs, creating a layout grid, typeface selection, creating illustrations and designing the layout of the selection, creating the design of the tablets.
