1949. gada 25. marta deportāciju reprezentācija laikrakstos latviešu valodā (1985–1995)
Abstract
Bakalaura darba temats ir 1949. gada 25. marta deportāciju reprezentācija laikrakstos latviešu valodā (1985–1995). Tā mērķis ir noskaidrot kā un kādā veidā varētu tikt reprezentēta 1949. gada 25. marta deportācija 1985.-1995. gada laikrakstos latviešu valodā. Kādiem līdzekļiem tiek reprezentēti deportāciju notikumi un kā tie iespaido sabiedrības sociālo atmiņu un komemorācijas paradumus. Pētījuma veikšanai tika izmantotas sekojošās pētniecības metodes ‒ kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze un vēsturiskā diskursa analīze, koncentrējoties uz publikāciju jēgu un lingvistiku.
Bakalaura darbu veido trīs nodaļas, kur pirmā veido darba teorētisko pamatu par sociālo atmiņu, reprezentāciju un laikmeta raksturojumu, otrā daļa apskata izmantoto metožu teoriju. Savukārt pēdējā nodaļa ietver pētījuma empīrisko daļu, kur tika aprakstītas izmantotās pētījumu metodes praksē un to rezultāti.

Bachelor thesis topic is „The representation of deportations in March the 25th 1949 in Latvian language press (1985–1995)”. Paper’s main objective is to find out how and in what way the Deportation might be represented in Latvian language press. By what means are the Deportations represented and how it affects society’s social memory and commemorative habits. To conduct the study the following methods have been used ‒ quantitative content analysis and discourse historical analysis, focusing on publications and linguistic meanings.
Bachelor’s work consists of three chapters in which the first one is theoretical basis of social memory, representation and period description. Second chapter covers the theoretical side of the methods used in this paper. The last chapter covers the empirical part where the authot covers the use of the methods in practice and their results.
