Simbolu jēdziens un nozīme Paula Tilliha teoloģijā

Abstract

Šajā darbā es izskaidrošu simbolus Paula Tilliha teoloģijā. Protams, ka Pauls Tillihs nav vienīgais, kurš ir aprakstījis simbolus, tāpēc darbs tiks veidots 20. gadsimta kontekstā, aplūkojot arī citus tā laika simbolu skaidrojumus. Darba tēze: Simbolu jēdziens un nozīme Paula Tilliha teoloģijā tiek izskaidrots skaidrāk un teoloģiski nozīmīgāk nekā citās 20. gadsimta teorijās. Izvirzot šādu tēzi, es vēlos pievērst uzmanību Paula Tilliha teoloģijai vispār, jo tā mums ļauj paskatīties uz vēsturi un šodienu savādāk. Darbā aplūkošu un kodolīgi izpētīšu arī Paul Ricoeur, Ernsta Kassirera un Mirčes Eliades simbolu teorijas, kuras ir izpelnījušās atzinību. Simboli, to jēdziens un nozīme akadēmiskā vidē ir maz pētīta, taču gana nozīmīga. Ar šo darbu vēlos uzsvērt simbolu svarīgumu ne tikai mums katram atsevišķi, bet arī globālā līmenī.

of Paul Tillich. In this bachelor dissertation I will explain symbols in theology of Paul Tillich. Of course Paul Tillich is not the only one who has described symbols that’s why this dissertation will be made in context of 20th century discussing other theories of symbols of that time. Thesis statement: The concept and significance of symbols in theology of Paul Tillich are expressed more clearly and theologically more significantly than in other theories of 20th century. Bringing forward this thesis I want to draw attention to theology of Paul Tillich as such because it shows us different point of view of history and today. In this bachelor dissertation I will briefly look into theories of symbols of Paul Ricoeur, Ernst Cassirer and Mircea Eliade which have merited praise. Symbols and concept of symbols is few researched in Latvian academic field before. With this dissertation I want to accent significance of symbols not only individually but also globally.
