Mēs dzīvojam 21.gs., tehnoloģijas laikmetā, kurš ir pārpildīts ar informāciju. Tāpēc šodien jaunās tehnoloģijas nenoliedzami ir ienākušas arī draudžu darbībā un kļuvušas par vienu no sludināšanas līdzekļiem. Pētījumā apskatīšu, kā Baznīca piemērojas šim jaunajam laikmetam, cik efektīvi un kā tas maina Baznīcas vēstījumu. Izpētot Latvijas kristīgos interneta resursus ar vebometrijas metodi var secināt, ka vispasaules tīmeklis ir piesātināts arī ar latviešu kristīgajām mājaslapām. Te var atrast ne tikai lielo Baznīcu oficiālās mājaslapas, bet arī atsevišķu draudžu un kristīgo organizāciju, kā arī citas kristīga satura mājaslapas.

Latvian Christian Organizations in 21st century global information web

We live in the 21st century, in the era of technology which is loaded with information. It’s undeniable today the new technologies have entered also an area of congregations and have become the instrument of preaching. In my research I’ll find out how the Church adapts itself in this new era, how effective and how does it change the message of the Church. Exploring the Internet resources of Latvian Christian organizations with a method of webometrics I have come to a conclusion that the world wide web is saturated also with the sites of Latvian Christian organizations. It’s possible to find not only the official sites of the big Churches, but also the sites of several congregations and Christian organizations, as well as the other sites with a Christian content.
